“Teisenddu” is dedicated to the voyage of the ship Mimosa, which in 1865 brought the first Welsh emigrants to Patagonia in Argentina. They brought with them important traditions from Wales, including the culinary, famous “Teisenddu” - "black pie or cake" - a Welsh sweet pastry, now a popular Argentine dessert. FrassaÏ's Teisenddu is predictably gourmand with warm spices, bitter orange and juniper. A delicious heart of dried fruit and nuts in a mix of rum and mimosa honey. Leather and sugar crystals leave an indelible warm memory.
The scent of mimosa makes Teisendu a very unique Eau de Parfum.
